How do some business become successful? Why do some ideas, once put in to action, fail? Hit by Bricks is a site dedicated to sharing the back stories of a few companies that we run into, some successful, some struggling, and some that have closed their doors.
If your a person who has had a ‘Hit by Bricks’ moments when you have a great idea that you think could be something that could move from a hobby to a full time pursuit, this site is for you …so tune in often to read in-depth interviews with people just like you who have taken the leap and moved an idea into action…read about what worked well, what they struggled with and what they would have done different..
We also will quite often ask you for your opinion. In our discussion section, tell us what you think and what you know about the topic of the week.
And finally, we want to give a shout out to those companies who go above and beyond the typically low standard of service we have all come to expect. If you run into a business or an individual that you want to spotlight, email us and tell us your experience.

Hitbybricks is a community made up of members who are passionate about creating, sharing and cultivating ideas; some great, some not-so-great. The point of the site is to help quickly separate the good from the bad, and to provide an enviornment and tools to move a good idea forward.
Think of this community as a giant focus group, where you can bounce an idea off of several thousand people in a very short period of time.
